Knowledge about high carbon ferrochrome processing and feeding
With the continuous development of social economy, the demand for high carbon ferrochrome has increased sharply. Generally speaking, the main method of production is gravity selection, using shaking table and elimination selection, and sometimes the gravity selection concentrate is re-selected with weak selection or strong magnetic selection to further improve the grade of chromium concentrate and chromium iron ratio. In the actual production of high carbon ferrochrome, it is often necessary to select suitable ore types and matching ratios. And high carbon ferrochrome processing and feeding is also a problem that needs to be understood.
The high carbon ferrochrome ore is crushed between the fixed jaw plate and the movable jaw plate. When the eccentric shaft rotates, the movable jaw plate is reciprocated back and forth through the connecting rod and the push wrench to achieve the purpose of pressing and discharging the ore. The thermal protection of the ore requires that the particle size of the coke is smaller than that of the ore. For raw materials or coke with small particle size requirements for smelting, a double roller crusher can be used for crushing. After the high carbon ferrochrome raw material is crushed, it is screened, weighed and batched, and sent to the top silo of the furnace, and then added to the furnace through the material pipe or sent to the feeding platform.
The feeding equipment and weighing need to be simple and reliable. There are two feeding methods currently used: one is to use a belt conveyor to bring the material to the silo, and then unload the material into the furnace top silo according to the proportion of the material on the batching car. The other feeding method is to use a loading trolley to send the furnace to the furnace top platform along the inclined bridge.
