is made from quartz and coke,by electric furnace smelting, it is
called silicon metal. Also known as metal silicon or industrial
silicon. Silicon purity can be 98% and above, while other
impurities mainly are Fe, Al, Ca.The main application of it is as
non-ferrous alloy's additive.
