Ferro Sillicon Slag Description
Silicon slag alloy (Silicon Slag): Silicon slag generally refers to
the residual part of the original ore after refining. The slag also
contains a certain proportion of silicon elements, which can
significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of
steel, improve the permeability of steel, reduce the hysteresis
loss of transformer steel, and increase the deoxidization rate.
Application of Silicon Slag:
Silicon metal slag can be used as a deoxidizer to replace
ferrosilicon in steelmaking and cast iron production, increasing
the fluidity of molten iron, high slagging efficiency, increasing
furnace temperature, reducing fuel consumption, improving the
toughness and cutting performance of castings, reducing overall
production costs and improving productivity.
