Barium Silicon Description
Silicon barium alloy (Si Ba)is a high quality inoculant. It is an
iron alloy with higher activity. Silicon barium Inoculants apply to
grey cast iron , nodular cast iron, ductile casting iron and
vermicular casting iron. The Ba, Ca etc. chemical elements in it is
stable .

Barium Silicon Use
1. Strongly increase the graphitized core, refine graphite, promote
the production of a-type graphite in gray cast iron, improve the
strength, for nodular cast iron can make graphite in nodular iron
small, round, improve the level of spheroidization.
2.Barium Silicon Inoculant can effectively reduce the supercooling
degree of hot metal, promote the precipitation of graphite,
significantly reduce the tendency of white hole, reduce the
relative hardness, and improve the cutting performance of castings.
3.The sensitivity of wall thickness is small, the uniformity of
section is improved, and the tendency of shrinkage and loosening is
reduced.
