etc.) and industrial silicon powder (mesh sizes 100, 200, 325).
The production of raw silicon uses the carbothermal method, which
involves smelting silicon dioxide and carbonaceous reducing agents
in an arc furnace. This results in silicon purity of about 97% to
98%, which is generally suitable for metallurgy. If the silicon
grade is higher, further refining is required to remove impurities,
resulting in metal silicon with a purity of 99.7% to 99.8%.
China, Brazil, Norway, the United States, and France are the
world's major producers of metal silicon. Due to resource
advantages, China has low-cost, high-quality metal silicon raw
materials, and metal silicon production is mainly concentrated in
China. In 2020, China's metal silicon production ranked first
globally, accounting for about 69.3%; followed by Brazil and
Norway, with production shares of 7.3% and 6.6% respectively.

Silicon metal powder is made of Silicon lumps by crushing, seiving,
washing process etc. We have different grades of Si content powder,
and we have different Si powder crushing and sieving processes to
adapt to different applications of silicon powder.
