Description:

temperature), it is also widely used as a refractory material. As a
refractory material, silicon carbide can be used as a raw material
for petroleum gasifiers and desulfurization furnace linings in the
manufacture of chemical equipment; it can be used as liquid metal
delivery pipelines, smelting furnace linings, and metal melting
crucibles in metal smelting. It can also be used as a product for
smelting equipment in areas that require corrosion and wear
resistance in steel smelting, as a shelf for kilns in the silicate
industry, and as a raw material for rocket engine tail nozzles and
high-temperature gas turbine blades in the aerospace industry.
