Silicon metal powder is made of Silicon lumps by crushing, seiving,
washing process etc.

Silicon metal is smelted by silica and carbonaceous reductant in a
mineral heat furnace into a product, the main ingredient of silicon
content of about 98% (in recent years, the Si content of 99.99% is
also listed in the silicon metal), the rest of the impurities for
the iron, aluminum, calcium and so on.
Industrial silicon is divided into a variety of specifications due
to its different uses. According to the content of iron, aluminum
and calcium in quasi-metallic silicon, quasi-metallic silicon can
be divided into different grades such as 553, 441, 411, 421, 3303,
3305, 2202, 2502, 1501, 1101, and so on. The additional products of
quasi-metallic silicon include micro-silicon powder, edge-skinned
silicon, black-skinned silicon, metallic silicon slag, etc. Among
them, micro-silicon powder is also known as silica fume, which is
widely used in refractory materials and concrete industry .
